The Freezer Case: Amy's Organic Pesto

This pizza had great crust and a mild pesto flavor but needed doctoring up.

Added turkey pepperoni and some fontina (micro shred that block), parmesan, pepperoncini (red pepper flakes), garlic powder and dried basil. Et voila! Magnifique!

Accompany with a Morningstar Tomato and Basil Burger and a spring mix salad with balsamic alone and you've got a great meal.

Held off on accompanying this with a wine or beer because of meeting up with friends. Iced green tea or water with lemon  would also allow you to enjoy this tasty treat. Emmental does suggest a sparkling lemon or lime infused Perrier but Poland Springs makes a cheaper domestic knock off to make you still feel fancy.

The pizza doctor has left the building.
