Booze...in 50 Words or Less: Old Forge Brewing Company Endless Summer Ale

Old Forge Endless Summer Ale
Bought this beer because I was attracted by the canned sixpack of 16-ounce pounders. A little bit of wheat taste. Little bit of hops. Little bit of an aftertaste. Basically, it has a little bit of flavor, period. Very disappointing purchase. Not much better than big-box light beers.

Booze...in 50 Words or Less: Sixpoint Bengali Tiger

Sixpoint Bengali Tiger
American IPA by the lesser-known Brooklyn brewery that specializes in canned beers. Decent sized hop punch upon first sip. The amber beer contains a degree of citrus flavor, but it's a bit subtle for my taste. Not incredibly impressed. Hops are ample, but additional notes are fairly scarce.

Booze...in 50 Words or Less: Sly Fox Phoenix Pale Ale

Sly Fox Phoenix Pale Ale
Bought a six-pack of these cans after playing basketball on Tuesday night. Truthfully, it pales in comparison to excellent pale ales I've had recently, like Yards Philadelphia Pale Ale and Lagunitas Pale. Still, it soothed my aching ankles. And I drank three in 30 minutes. Good enough for me.

Booze...in 50 Words or Less: Oskar Blues Dale's Pale Ale

Oskar Blues Dale's Pale Ale
On the recommendation of a friend and loyal reader, picked this canned beer from Colorado's Oskar Blues. This gent sought to prove canned beers can pack serious flavor. He makes his point and then some. Weighing in just south of an IPA, this hoppy pale packs a crisp, powerful wallop.

Booze...in 50 Words or Less: Sly Fox Rt. 113 IPA

Sly Fox Rt. 113 IPA
I often find canned beers aren't able to pull off the flavor that bottled beers (let alone drafts) bring to the table. However, Royersford, Pennsylvania's Sly Fox must be doing something to preserve their beverages when they fill up the aluminum. Rt. 113 has hoppiness to spare and exceptional flavor!
