Booze...in 50 Words or Less: Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project Jack D'Or

Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project Jack D'Or
The Audubon Ale House has a pretty decent beer selection. Still, I was constantly intrigued when I would approach their freezer case and see the cool label art of this Massachusetts Saison. Lemony scent. Slightly bitter mouthfeel. Golden color. Effervescent head. Bit of a lingering aftertaste. Overall, quite fine.

The Rare Night Out: Audubon Ale House

Ok, so it wasn't really a "night" per se, but still, my mother-in-law was nice enough to stop in for 90 minutes and babysit. This gave us ample time to head to the Audubon Ale House for dinner and a couple of drinks. I don't know if I would give this establishment "hidden jewel" status, but I do think that it is an underrated choice when looking to spend some quality time in the local bar. So with time of the essence we chose to hit it up in lieu of other choices, The Saloon and the always reliable Chap's.

Booze...in 50 Words or Less: Brooklyn Brewery Local 1

Brooklyn Brewery Local 1
Tough to write 50 words here. My lady drank almost the entire 25.4 ounce bottle. That's fair! I bought it for her. I did get a couple nice sips. It's a surprisingly easy-to-drink Belgian style ale. Get to Williamsburg, Brooklyn and try one. Or visit the Audubon Ale House!
